"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Funny. The person who's supposedly "some loser who has no life" is actually somebody he directly took artwork from. I didn't know finding somebody guilty of taking your artwork meant you have no life. You might want to rethink a few things before talking about what you have no idea about.
